Week 11 - Brainstorming Review

After presenting my new photo series idea to the class during our second brainstorming session, I feel much more confident about the direction my photo series is going. Following the initial feedback from the first brainstorming session, I decided to change my idea entirely and pivot to a new idea that is more concrete and can be linked visually. After some brainstorming I concluded to move forward with Traces of Use, a photo series capturing elements in our world in which repeated human use over time has changed the look of objects or locations. After collecting some inspiration and taking some preliminary shots, I presented my brainstorming presentation to the class and received positive feedback. After the class session I know how I can move forward, including figuring out how to visually link my photos and a potential sequencing as well. I now feel confident I can move forward with my idea and present a successful photo series.
